Welcome To Class 2
In Class 2 we are kind, happy and friendly. We promise to always be respectful and use kind hands and feet. We will always be helpful to one another. We promise to be loving like God taught us to be. We will work hard and always try our best.
Class Information
PE - PE lessons are on Mondays and Thursdays. Please ensure that your child has a PE kit in school on these days.
Homework - Homework books are given out every Friday. This includes a homework activity linked to what we are learning in class and a set of spellings. It would be greatly appreciated if homework books could be returned by the following Wednesday.
Reading - Reading books will be changed weekly.
Topic: All About Me
This term our topic is All About Me. In English we have been enjoying retelling our favourite Traditional Tales and we are looking forward to making our own version of Hansel and Gretel's cottage in DT. In science we have been learning about the life cycle of a human and have also investigated what humans need to survive. We will also be learning about our local environment in Geography and thinking of ways that it could be improved.
Helping At Home
You can help at home by:
- Reading your child's home reading book regularly
- Completing spellings and homework tasks
- Practise counting on and back in steps of 1, 2, 3, 5 and 10
- Recalling multiplication facts for 2, 3, 5 and 10 timestables
